Holiday Inn Express & Suites Emporia by IHG

Easy off 95. We had room 301. Our room was spacious and very clean. There was a nice fridge, microwave and a Kurig single cup coffee maker with Green mountain coffee pods. Bathroom was clean and amenities included plenty of hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Our room was nice and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, TV was nice and big with plenty of choices. We were only a quick overnight stay. The breakfast was hot and very good. The coffee was excellent. The staff were all so friendly. We were greeted with a friendly smile upon arrival and checkout. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for 3 weeks on business during Christmas and New Years and truly enjoyed my stay. The staff were helpful and always cheerful. As you can see my service dog accompanied me on my trip and wanted me to tell you that the beds are nice and comfy!

From the warm gracious greeting at our 5pm arrival to the quiet night & immaculately clean room with no perfumey spray smell, this was a 5 star stay! My only other comment is that I wish hotel chains would realize their paying customers would like at least a small window opening for fresh air.

We've stayed at numerous Holiday Inn Expressed. We like the comfortable beds, pillows & cleanliness of the rooms. The breakfast is very good with a nice variety of items to choose from. Some places have better prices but the amenities at the Holiday Inn are the best. The water pressure in the bathtub was low & the water was only warm. It wouldn't get hot. We wanted to use the pool but it looked cloudy & was cold.

The room was clean, and had a good sized closet with an ironing board. Also a safe in the closet if you had items you needed to keep safe. The only down side we found out the next morning was the refrigerator in the room wasn't working. Lucky for us we didn't have anything perishable in the refrigerator. The only down size was our ice bags were totally defrosted. The breakfast was great, a variety of food, that was hot and the staff for breakfast was awesome.

We had a wonderful unplanned stay at this property. Our car started having issues on our road trip south late at night. We opted for this hotel over the surrounding ones because the reviews seemed best and the hotel proved it was the right choice! We walked in without a reservation and they had a room for us and all checked in within 5 min. Room was spacious, clean, bed was comfortable. There was plenty of room for our sons pack and play. We all slept great. I was really surprised by the continental breakfast… it was one of the best I’ve had! Eggs, sausage, tater tots, cinnamon roll were all delicious!! I highly recommend this property if passing through emporia! They allowed us a late check out so my husband could get our van fixed and we will be back on the road soon. Thanks Holiday Inn!

Great place, incredibly clean and comfortable. Amazing staff, nice breakfast. Bed was super comfortable and the room was laid out nice and clean.

There’s not much to see or do along this stretch of 58 but if you find yourself in need of a rest, you couldn’t do better than this little place. Super clean and quiet, lovely rooms with very comfy beds. All the staff were warm and cheerful, and they served up the best “quickie breakfast” we’d ever had. We don’t expect to ever be back, but I’d stay again if needed to. Book with confidence.
